Hereditary Hearing Loss - A New Study

Usher syndrome type III, a genetic mutation that causes heredetary hearing loss, has been under the study of Kumar Alagramam, PhD, at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.  Gene therapy in mice has show that this type of hearing loss may be reversable in new generations.
