On October 29, Dr. Mahshie spoke to the faculty at The River School (http://www.riverschool.net) on a number of research projects being conducted through the CICL. He presented the outcomes of two of our projects, one exploring speech feature perception and production by children with cochlear implants while the other examined the production of intonation patterns by implanted children. He also discussed the current project examining additional aspects of prosody as well as voice quality in children with cochlear implants.
